GTA Online Kortz Center Heist Scope Out Guide: All Entry Points, POIs & Secondary Targets

The Scope Out Is Everything

The Kortz Center Heist is GTA Online's biggest new score — a multi-stage art robbery set in the iconic Kortz Center gallery in Pacific Bluffs. But before you can pull off the heist, you need to scope out the location thoroughly. A complete scope out unlocks all four entry points, every optional prep mission, and the maximum possible payout from secondary targets.

Skip anything during the scope out and you're leaving money on the table. This guide covers every single thing you need to find.

Requirements

Before you can start the scope out, you need:

  • A Mansion property in GTA Online
  • The Art Studio expansion purchased for your Mansion
  • After buying the Art Studio, a cutscene introduces you to the heist and unlocks the planning board

The scope out mission is initiated from the whiteboard in your Art Studio.

Step 1: Sneak Into the Security Room

Your first objective is infiltrating the security room without being detected.

  • Avoid the guards' and cameras' cones of vision — stay out of sight lines at all times
  • Head to the staff-only door next to a large mountain portrait on the ground floor
  • Once inside, knock out the security guard silently
  • Upload the AI to the computer system to gain access to the CCTV network

This is the most critical step — once you have CCTV access, you can scope everything else from the cameras.

Step 2: Use the CCTV Cameras

Once you're in the CCTV system, you need to cycle through every camera and pan each one to its fullest extent. This is how you identify:

  • The primary target — "La Dernière Débauche"
  • Secondary targets (paintings and display case items)
  • Points of Interest that unlock optional prep missions

Pro tip: Don't rush through the cameras. Pan left, right, up, and down on every single one. Missing a single POI means missing an optional prep mission that could make your finale significantly easier.

All 4 Entry Points

There are four entry points to the Kortz Center. You need to photograph each one during the scope out to add it to your planning board.

1. Staff Entrance (Default)

The easiest to find — the game guides you directly to it. Look for the door with a "restricted area: authorized employees only" sign to the right of the main Kortz Center entrance. Take a photo to add it.

2. Skylight

Located on the roof of the Bell Building. You can reach it by:

  • Using the stairs outside the building, or
  • Flying up with a vehicle like the Oppressor Mk2

Photograph the skylight from the rooftop.

3. Sewer

The sewer entrance is a manhole cover located in the center of the hedge maze outside the Kortz Center. You'll also need to find the Manhole Key, which is on a construction table somewhere around the exterior of the building. Using a flying vehicle makes locating the manhole much easier.

4. Loading Bay

Head to the parking area of the Kortz Center. Go down the ramp and photograph the loading doors from outside. Note: you need to access the Loading Bay camera on CCTV first before you can photograph this entry point from the exterior.

All 6 Points of Interest & What They Unlock

Points of Interest (POIs) unlock optional prep missions that make the heist finale dramatically easier. Here's every single one:

Radio Tower → Guard Routes Prep

On the roof of the Bell Building, to the left of the Skylight, you'll see a radio tower. Photograph it to unlock the Guard Routes prep mission, which reveals the positions of all guards during the finale.

Electrical Box → EMP Charges Prep

Also on the roof, behind the Skylight between two air ducts. Photograph the electrical box to unlock EMP Charges, which lets you disable lights and cameras during the finale. This is one of the most valuable optional preps.

Skull Exhibit (Memento Non Mori Ruby) → Glass Cutter Prep

Inside the Kortz Center, find and photograph the display case containing a skull — it's called the "Memento Non Mori Ruby." This unlocks the Glass Cutter prep mission, which you need to steal loot from display cases.

Lockboxes → Power Drills Prep

While using the CCTV in the vault camera, pan left and right of the vault door to spot lockboxes on the walls. Inspecting them unlocks the Power Drills prep mission, letting you drill open lockboxes for extra loot.

Loading Bay Delivery Truck → Guard Shipments Prep

On the Loading Bay camera, pan to the right to spot a delivery truck. This unlocks the Guard Shipments prep mission, which weakens enemy guards' armor and weapons — making combat significantly easier if stealth fails.

Display Case Alarm

Located behind the security desk on the bottom floor. This isn't a prep mission — instead, you'll need to disable this alarm during the finale to loot display cases without alerting guards. Make sure you scope it so you know exactly where it is.

Secondary Targets

Secondary targets are valuable items you steal in addition to the primary target for a larger total payout.

  • Paintings: Photograph paintings that have names displayed on them. Not every painting can be stolen — only the named ones.
  • Gold dollar icon items: These are items on the buyer's request list that Raf texts you. They offer a bonus payout on top of their base value.
  • Display cases: Require the Glass Cutter prep to access. Worth the extra effort.
  • Upstairs room: Contains additional loot but requires a second player to access. Solo players can't reach this room.

CCTV Camera Tips

  • Pan every camera to its absolute maximum extent in all directions
  • The vault camera is where you find the lockboxes — easy to miss if you don't pan
  • The Loading Bay camera reveals the delivery truck for Guard Shipments
  • Take your time — a thorough scope out only needs to be done once and it unlocks everything
